They neglect their residents, they lie to you so much when trying to move in about things they provide and how our family member will be happy here which is a total lie. The few people I have spoken with are miserable and wanna get out but the management con their families into them staying. I have seen neglect first hand with the upstairs smelling like weed, the aids sitting around ignoring their residents, management always gone, activities is basically them doing nothing but playing bingo and watching movies and nursing sitting in their office and being loud and rude to residents and their families. "Do NOT let this beautiful facility fool you. The 5 star reviews are from upper level staff. Unfreaking believable. My mother was in this facility. It was amazing at first then it sold and went down hill from there. The filth that I cleaned from the floor in her room was unbelievable & the mold in the shower was disgusting. I know this how, because I, the family member had to cleaned their room. The fact that she shared a room and both were in wheelchairs and each paid $6700 a month is highway robbery. This place has went through 5 executive directors in the short time they have been open. The current director has absoutley NO people skills & treats the staff terrible. I have witnessed her yelling at two staff members in front of residents and family members. The residents now have to pay for their own toilet paper, trash bags & tissues. "Sharon, Jill, Nicole, and Tina have been extraordinary in the care for my father in Memory Care. Sharon went above and beyond in any professional care to personally ensure my father’s accommodations were perfect for him and his safety. Jill and Tina, wow, could not ask for better nursing care. Both have been able to be reached 24/7 on days off to assist my family. Equally important, the nursing staff has been an incredible comfort care therapist to my family, professionally managing expeditions for the stages of my father’s disease. Several nights there are no staff to take orders and serve food and the receptionist and nurses are pressed into duty. I Have raised the concerns through the proper channels but nothing changes, in fact, they seem to get worse. For some residents, dining is the only time they come out of their room. "This nursing home is one of many I visit regularly. Cuy Falls Gardens is depressing. I went for Christmas dinner and the Christmas music was turned down so rap could be played as aides danced. No holiday spirit. The residents wheel themselves down and sit in the lobby. I have never once seen the fireplace on. It would add so much warmth to emptiness The lobby tv is never on as they say the remote gets lost. a worker should be in charge of turning it on in the am and off at night. i watch wheelchaired people just sit in front of a barren screen. Even holiday music to greet and cheer residents and visitors. residents have complained about the huge amount of cigarette butts by the doors and windows.
