"The care my dad received at Wood Memorial was sub-par to say the least. He was at this facility for 2 1/2 months and I couldn't get him out fast enough. The place is gross, needs repairs, paint etc. He went for a month, after getting there, before he was even bathed and when he did get bathed, they. bathed him in cold water, in the winter! Who does that? The toilet in his room (that is shared) was not working correctly the entire time he was there and flooded one night. What are you doing about the wet sheetrock and walls that are warped from the sewage? At night, there was no one around to help him, he would call for help, press the button for a nurse and yell out and no one came to his aid during the night. The heat was turned off during the night and he would freeze. Every 2 weeks I was having to buy him new clothes because they would take his clothes.
