"I would NEVER recommend Ignite Medical Resort to anyone who is trusting them with the care of a loved one, especially someone who is medically fragile, has limited mobility, or cannot advocate for themselves. My father was sent to Ignite following a recent stroke and seizures, with significant mobility limitations and serious care needs. Unfortunately, what we experienced was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, unacceptable. There were multiple occasions when my father was left unattended for extended periods and was left in soiled diapers. For someone recovering from a stroke with limited mobility, this is not simply poor customer service—it is a basic issue of dignity, comfort, and appropriate care. I have been told that I may come or go as I wish. The doors are locked but each staff member has a card that opens the front and other doors. I may not have a card. This is one of main objections to places like this. I spent 25 years professionally building a reputation for truthfulness, if I said it it was believed. When staff shows up they are very pleasant and professional 90% of the time. My biggest concern with the facility is with the food. There doesn't seem to be an exact time for it to arrive. The other huge problem with the meals is that we aren't served what is on the receipt for the meal. I've had 10 meals so far and not one has been what it should have been.
