"If I could give it no hearts, I would.. My mom was in Wellbridge of Grand Blanc for 3 weeks for rehab after her surgery. The facility is clean. The help is terrible! My mom had to wait over 45 minutes after she pushed the call button to get any help what so ever. I eventually had to go find someone to help her. I stopped at another nurses station to inquire about the nurse for my hall and the nurse told me "that is not my hall!" I asked her if she could locate the nurse for my hall and she once again told me "THAT IS NOT MY HALL". on the third try I asked her if she would call my nurse and she told me that "that is not my hall I don't have to find anyone for you!!!!!" I then tried to contact the facility by phone and received no answer and could not leave a message. If you want your loved one to be taken care of on a timely bases. The Medicare website stars you see are misleading, once a good place they were bought out not that long ago and have been horrible ever since. Please take 10 minutes and go to the Medicare website and read the states health report back in May of this year. 40 pages of mistreatment, wrong doing and neglect. Taking 10 minutes to read the report could honeslty help save a life. I have never been to a place so awful in my life. The administrators and 90% of the staff don't seem to care that these people deserve basic rights and are dependent on them for living. "I had to pick a place for my nana after her hospital stay but before she could go home. she had experienced issues with other facilities so we decided to try Carriage House. She absolutely LOVED it. She said the most noteable differences were very kind people that seem to enjoy their jobs, and a schedule that they stick to with a ton of great activities. Staff were friendly and helpful every single time I needed something or needed to bring my grandmother anything. She was treated with respect, and little added bonus she won a few things at bingo in her time there lol. She is home now and so much better due to their consistent dedication to her physical and occupational therapy.
