Expected to begin welcoming new residents in late 2024, this new community will continue the Sunrise vision of redefining senior living and providing a resident-centered approach to care. It’s a focus on the individual that continues to be the gold standard in the senior living industry. Located at 1000 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Coral Gables, Florida, this is the company’s first senior living community in the Miami-metro area. When the doors open on the 90,000 square-foot-building, there will be 94 residences across six floors. Sunrise of Coral Gables will offer assisted living suites, as well as memory care for individuals living with dementia or another form of memory loss. The site was chosen for its accessibility and convenience to major commuter routes and various retailers, restaurants, and businesses. The Coral Gables trolley stops just one block away and runs every 15-20 minutes from the Douglas Metrorail station. Sunrise’s in-house development and design teams are partnering with Coral Gables-based architecture firm Behar Font & Partners and Washington, DC-based general contractor Winmar Construction to bring the community to life.… Read more

"I have been doing research in retirement communities for my parents since last year. I have visited all of these communities on this website and i can definitely say this website needs some work. It's not accurate.. all the rates are wrong for ALL of these places. BUT I will say The Grand Living in coral gables was possibly the best experience I had . when I toured, they were very transparent in the services they offer. I was even able to meet some of the management team. Their general manager made it a point to introduce herself and asked questions about my parents which I thought was nice. So far we are leaning to this one. their residents are very active and friendly and even invited us to stay for dinner. The others did not meet our standards." - Mimi… Read more

"I recently moved my parents into the independent living area of Mirabelle, and it has been a great experience. The staff at Mirabelle were incredibly helpful throughout the transition, and they continue to provide excellent service with a genuine care for the residents. The building is beautiful and immaculately kept, with plenty of activities to fill the days. My mom is in early stages of dementia but is able to participate in activities within the memory-care area. The neighborhood is perfect too – a micro-city that offers a wide variety of shopping and dining options with easy access to great medical care. I am so glad that we chose Mirabelle for my parent's new home, as it has made their transition smooth and stress-free." - Kristina… Read more
