"My Mom has been at The Hearth for 5 years and it's been a good home for her. It's quiet, comfortable and friendly. The nursing staff is very good, but higher levels of care do cost more. The costs are straightforward and we have had no financial surprises., though there have been annual increases that were announced in advance. The community is friendly and pretty active, with a Happy Hour and daily activities. I have found management responsive to concerns and requests. And the food is good. Mom has very few complaints and when we join her for a meal, it's balanced and tasty. All in all, it's not perfect but I would definitely recommend it." - James Sabo…

"My folks have been there for a few months and all they talk about is Church Hill Village. From the delicious meals, the extraordinary care they receive, the entertainment and activities, they always sound so busy when I call. I can't tell you how happy and relieved I am knowing my parents are being cared for at that level. My wife and I visited 6-7 local Senior Facilities in the area (so many free cakes and pies on the tours, you'll see), and Church Hill Village hands down was the best of the best. At every turn, the facility is kept sparkling clean, all the staff are smiling and everyone makes you feel like family. Joanne and Rosemary to name a few are ROCKSTARS!! Thank you so much for taking care of my two loving parents." - S…

"My mother has been a resident here for the past two years. If I stack the cost against all of it, the care is decent, the place itself is also decent. However, be aware the costs they charge to be here go up every year, and not by a little. This January 2025 they raised the combined cost of her place and care by 10% from last year (with no change in level of care). While I understand costs are rising everywhere a 10% increase year over year is an exorbitant amount. This is well beyond any typical increase that follows the inflation rate, etc. The company has their pre-written explanations for the increases but I don't buy it. This feels like the rest of our healthcare system. Pass the cost onto the consumer while they make their high profits. Hopefully this is helpful to anyone doing their research on an assisted living facility. I contacted them regarding this and was referred to their director. I left her a message and heard nothing back." - Pete…

The figures below show the average monthly starting costs for memory care of nearby cities. Keep in mind that these figures are an average, and that the numbers used to calculate it spanned a wide range. In fact, CareScout data suggests that most families will underestimate their monthly budget by almost 20%, meaning that once inclusions and services are factored in, they can actually afford more than they originally thought.
