"Please do not place your loved one here. I had a very bad experience after my husband was only there for 18 days. He was brought to the ER for a fall and none of his medical records went with him. The ER physician had no idea what his medical history was, medications , etc. I have also been promised by letter a refund for the days he was not there, and still have not received it. In addition, his room was always messy and dirty so I brought my own cleaner and cleaned every time I visited. I don't feel he had enough supervision. "After taking care of mom at our home for a year, we made the difficult decision to place her in a memory care facility. We toured 5 local facilities and Ashley Manor was the only one with a home environment that was perfect for mom. The owner was the only person on all the tours that asked us how we were doing. Including us and our feelings in the placement process was invaluable. After nearly 7 months, mom is doing wonderfully. She's loved, cared for, entertained, kept clean, safe and happy. The staff, all of mom's "young kids" treat her with respect and compassion and she adores them all. Each time we visit, we're regaled with mom's escapades and jokes.
