"You pay for amenities you don't receive. They don't clean the apartments as scheduled. The common areas are not clean. Activities are limited and often required to be run by the residents. The activities lack creativity, often limited to games of hangman or bingo. The Food is horrible, they can't seem to keep a cook on staff and so the food is prepared by untrained help--lately the maintenance man. The difficulty is the chain of command. The administrator is rarely there and when she is, she is behind closed doors. The prior administrator was always out with everyone and was very helpful. If you have a problem that you need addressed you can't reach management directly, you are limited to the direct administrator. When that person is unavailable or not receptive, you have no recourse. Do not bring your loved ones here, they will sit in there own defecation for days, will not be cleaned, and will only be seen as an inconvenience in the lives of these nurses who spend all day socializing with friends and sitting on there phones. The nurses will not change there clothes if you don’t reprimand them for they’re neglect. Totally shameless people with no remorse or sense of responsibility or accountability for the state of our elders. And there bosses are just as bad. My grandma took a “fall” here years ago and they never called or told us, we just came into find her face looked ready to burst. When she broke her hip from a fall we never found out from the nursing home.
