"While this facility is beautiful and well maintained, the management has been extremely difficult to work with. After my mom passed away -married for 63 yrs, my dad moved back to MI which is his home. He was placed on respite care to try it out. You can imagine the loss he was feeling and moving out of his home. He does have early dementia but with the stress of life changes, those symptoms increase. After 6 weeks, the staff is forcing us to move him to memory care, even though another facility said he is not ready for this, he just needed more time to adjust. My dad is finally starting to reengage. The current staff is disorganized, not communicating well or being honest. They are not living up to the level of care on their website. Shame on this management for not being patient, compassionate or caring of the life changes he is going through! This is not the first review like this I came across, others have the same experience." - Dee…

"The Oaks of Belmont is a very nice, bright, clean facility. My husband was there for 2 weeks. The staff was kind, considerate and very good at their jobs. The food was very good and the kitchen staff was helpful and able to answer any questions that I had. My husband has food allergies that made food selection a little difficult, but the selections were still very good. I would highly recommend this place for your loved one." - Lois…

"Link below If you have someone you love and want them to live I urge you NOT to bring them here!!!! The Medicare website stars you see are misleading, once a good place they were bought out not that long ago and have been horrible ever since. Please take 10 minutes and go to the Medicare website and read the states health report back in May of this year. 40 pages of mistreatment, wrong doing and neglect. Taking 10 minutes to read the report could honeslty help save a life. I have never been to a place so awful in my life. The administrators and 90% of the staff don't seem to care that these people deserve basic rights and are dependent on them for living. This place needs to be shut down. https://www.medicare.gov/care-compare/ Type in mission point of grandville and go to their profile / scroll down to health inspection and click view full report from 5-5-23" - m…
