"Mom was at Residence of Charles Meadow. They wanted to move her to memory care or she would have to leave. Also mismanagement of medication. Mom was on the SAMM plan and there were times when her pills just went ‘missing’ never to be found. Another times medications were given at wrong times. I put a camera in Mom’s room and reported all the errors in medications Mom is now at another Assisted Living community not in memory care but living in the general public and is doing fantastic!!" - Debby…

Magnolia Heights Gracious Retirement Living

From $3,615/mo

485 East Central Street, Franklin, MA, 02038
Independent Living

"I have spent a few years looking for a place where my 85-year-old mother will feel comfortable. She's kind of picky about her environment and has moved in and out of a couple of places. She's finally found what she was looking for at Magnolia Heights in Franklin, MA. The layout of the building is great; residents don't have to walk too far to get to the central community areas. Most apartments have balconies. There's plenty of light all around; it doesn't feel stuffy at all. I've shared a few lunches at their dining area and I noticed a good sense of community. The activities director is a fun person to be around and her enthusiasm for her job is contagious. There are plenty of events and activities for the residents to participate in. I especially appreciate that the sales manager actually listens to her residents and projects a warmth that seems so lacking in other professional retirement communities. She's always available to help new residents get used to their surroundings during the difficult transition of moving in. Some retirement communities feel like they're just a place to live. Magnolia Heights feels like a place where my mother can be at home." - Eric…
