Solstice Senior Living At Bangor

From $2,695/mo

922 Ohio Street, Bangor, ME, 04401
Independent Living

"I'm an independent care provider and have a daily client at Solstice in Bangor Maine . The building is nice, common areas are beautiful but the actual apts could use a refresh and some general maintenance. Sadly starting February 1st 2026 the rates for all services are being raised and some of them are not resident " friendly". They are implementing fees for meals to be delivered to your room ( $10), even if you are ill, injured and unable to make it to the dining room. Since the cost of the meals is already included in the rent it seems to me that this is just a money grab. They are implementing a new key card system next week and my client had to pay $50 per new card which are necessary for my-self and her daughter to access the building before 7:30 am and after 7:00 pm. Since seniors are on fixed incomes this will cause a hardship to some." - michelle…
