"OMG... My mother-in-law lived at Hawthorne Place Assisted Living apartments for over 2 years. It was wonderful. The apt was comfortable and decent size. We were lucky enough to be able to wait for a patio apt to become available, which for our 'Oma/Mom' made all the difference for her as she was a big time nature lover. The gardening is gorgeous. The STAFF IS AMAZING from Lisa in the front office to CNAs to nurses and house cleaning. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH NICE THINGS! They worked so hard to ensure that 'Mom' was not only well cared for, but loved!! And when the end came near, they so kindly worked with us during Mom's short time in hospice, we were able to keep her in her home until she passed. We will be FOREVER grateful to everyone at HP.
