Bonaventure Of Vancouver

From $3,400/mo

9317 Northeast 86th Street, Vancouver, WA, 98662
Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living

"My aunt has lived at Bonaventure of Vancouver since Aug 2021 (in Assisted Living "ASL"). She has recently moved to Memory Care. I have spent many days at this residential facility. I knew Bonaventure of Vancouver was the one the moment I walked in. It is newer facility, with a movie theater, bowling alley, hair and nail salon, and more - including outdoor activities including shopping, nature walks, museum visits, etc. Too many to list here. My aunt, who has dementia yet knows when she is happy, loves the place. The staff is the best I've ever seen - in ANY profession. They not only take care of my aunt - they take care of me, too - always concerned about their charges. For me - it's more keeping up my spirits. They're great! Especially the management and medical team (Jasmine, Amer, Nicole , and more). No other facility residence like it !" - Chris…

"I have been an employee at Touchmark for 2 months, and I can say that the residents and staff are amazing. I walked through the doors for the first time and had nothing but positive interactions with staff, residents, and families. Ashley B is truly an amazing supervisor, and she and Morgan made me feel so welcomed at Touchmark from when I first walked in the front doors for orientation! Touchmark is truly a great family to be part of, and I would 100% feel very comfortable in putting my loved ones here or referring people to work/live at Touchmark. Huge thanks again to Ashley B and Morgan for making me feel a part of the Touchmark family!" - Ceylan…

Prestige Senior Living Bridgewood

From $3,400/mo

11700 Northeast Angelo Drive, Vancouver, WA, 98684
Assisted Living, Independent Living

"Amen to the food issue! My mother lives here and the food service, all around, is a BIG problem. It's definitely the most negative aspect of her experience - hard to take when they just raised the rent! They seem to have high turnover in waitstaff, so are often shorthanded; sometimes it takes 30+ minutes of sitting there before their food actually comes to the table. They sometimes are "out" of the most basic things, like eggs or salad dressing! I would say that the problem is in the kitchen management, because the waitstaff are typically really good, caring people and seem to be trying their best in a tough situation. On a more positive note, the nurses, med-techs and aides at Bridgewood are REALLY great. They are positive and supportive, they KNOW the residents, they are prompt in responding, and they truly seem to care. The programming is good, with lots of opportunities for exercise and brain "games", sometimes outings and live music, and community events." - Colleen…

"Before you place your loved one in this facility you should talk to the residents and ask a lot of questions. First : housekeeping only includes cleaning toilet, mopping and taking garbage. Does not include dusting, cleaning shower or kitchen sink. Second: one load of laundry a week means they will wash your clothes with your towels and return wadded up instead of folded. They will even lose your laundry. Third: they will mark that your loved one has been given their medication when in fact they had not. Fourth: Some caregivers will tell the resident that they do not want to give them their bath ( even though you are paying extra for that service). Oh…and they don’t wash feet. If giving a sponge bath, they don’t even bother to take off socks to wash feet. Fifth: Do not believe everything that the salesman tells you. He will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to place your loved one in the facility. Sixth: I could go on and on. The staff are caring." - Sherri…
