Whispering Pines Assisted Living

"This place is disgusting. There are many flies EVERYWHERE, on the patients/on the food. This is NOT a care facility. This is a facility that will feed & water. I entered and not one staff member said a word to me on either occasion, no one even made eye contact. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in here. I just visited a very close family friend last weekend. I was there 2 different days and saw the "food" they served. The food I saw served- ice cold grilled cheese, tater tots, and some kind of slimy green vegetable poured right out of a bag. Not to be outdone by a playing card sized square of what was supposed to be a piece of fish with some sort of rice. Everything was served ice cold, there is no way to be healthy in this place. My guess is the facility wrote the last post/rating here. Resident daily activity- 1. Get them out of bed in to their wheelchair. Feed them breakfast slop. Sit them in a chair in front of the TV. Feed them lunch slop followed by "dinner" around 4:30pm. Put them to bed around 6pm and start all over again. This is no way for anyone to live or be treated, the staff is NOT caring in any way. I watched how they treated other patients, I want to get my friend out of this place ASAP." - Mrbearsy…
