My father is a reminiscent resident on the 3rd floor at Sunrise McLean since June 2021 as part of their 6-week Road to Home Program to recover from surgery, He was weak & frail but, the staff brought him back to being healthy & vibrant again. His dementia was progressing and knowing that I could no longer give my father the kind of care he needed, I made the difficult decision to extend his stay. I could not be happier with that decision. The staff on the 3rd floor – from the management team to care managers, to PT, to the front desk, & finally, the facilities staff – are the best. I go nearly every day, & the care is consistently excellent. It takes a unique set of skills to give care to reminiscent residents; Sunrise McLean hit the jack pot with the staff on the 3rd floor; residents are treated as family, w/love & affection; the staff works as a team and in partnership to give the best care to their residents. Sunrise McLean, keep up the good work!
