The reviews for The Heritage at Twin Creeks present a mixed picture. Many reviewers praise the facility for its friendly and caring staff, highlighting individuals like Melanie, Paula, and Suzie for their dedication and support. The activities offered are frequently mentioned as a positive aspect, with residents enjoying a variety of engaging programs that keep them active and socially connected. The facility itself is often described as clean and well-maintained, with spacious rooms that meet residents' needs. However, there are notable concerns raised by some reviewers. Issues with management turnover, particularly with executive directors and directors of resident care, are mentioned as a source of instability. Some reviewers express dissatisfaction with the food quality and portion sizes, while others highlight problems with communication and responsiveness from the staff. A few reviews mention serious concerns, such as pest issues and inadequate cleaning, which have led to decisions to move loved ones out of the facility. Overall, while many families and residents have had positive experiences at The Heritage, enjoying the supportive community and activities, there are significant concerns that potential residents and their families should consider. The facility appears to excel in creating a welcoming environment but may need to address management consistency and operational issues to improve the overall experience for all residents.

Family

September 2026

One of our biggest concerns at The Heritage was how staff communication and working relationships affected resident care. We repeatedly encountered caregivers who lacked consistent information about my mother's needs, poor communication between shifts, conflicting answers and responsibility being passed from one person or department to another. We also witnessed enough friction between caregivers and med techs to question the working culture surrounding her care. It came back to four failures: communication, training, accountability and consistency. We raised concerns with nursing, management and regional leadership, yet problems continued. Some employees genuinely cared about my mother, but individual caregivers cannot compensate for a system that lacks consistency. Families should not have to navigate staff conflicts, chase answers or determine who has accurate information. When caregivers do not work together, residents and families pay the price. Management owns that problem.
