My mother lost 40 lbs over this last year due to food quality and bullying from another resident causing severe mental distress which was not prevented or addressed. There is very little social acitivites as well and the facility is in decline. New management this past year has revealed many cracks in this facility including a lack of safety.. Beware!! "It has been difficult for my mother ever since she has moved into this facility in 2024. There have been several MAARC reports filed on the staff for not delivering her medications within the allowed state guidelines. 1.) staff have lost her medications and lied about the number of medications that she is supposed to take in the mornings. (thank goodness my mother has a good understanding of what meds she needs to take otherwise she could be dead) 2.) They do not complete her laundry in a timely manner. 3.) They have a difficult time keeping staff and as result no one is on the same page. 4.) I was called when my mother fell on one occasion, she was having delirium and was asked if it was okay for the staff to call 9-1-1. This place is not a place that i would recommend at this point. There is a new Director of Nursing who seems to be very different than her predecessors and I am hoping for my mother's sake that her service and care improve otherwise removing her is our next step." - S.… Read more
