"My appt. touring the building was amazing, the rooms shown were newly remodeled. I was conveniently made aware of the pendant 5 minute call time response. Staff turned up in their uniforms and put their best attitudes and smiles on. Papers were signed and then the room that was shown to us was suddenly gone, given to someone else. My parents were forced (nothing available) to live in a ‘bedroom’ that barely fit two twin size beds…I should have left right away. Then, After seeing my dad’s continued decline (4months later) I find out that my dad’s main medication was never given to him (I checked his med drawer and was told if it’s not there then it never was there) my dad was now dependent on his walker. I had asked repeatedly if he was receiving it (3X a day) and they said yes he was. He was not. "My mother is very happy here & has made many new friends. My problem is with her balcony door. For the 1st 6 months she lived here the lock was stuck & she couldn’t access her balcony. Finally the door company came out & did a hack job to open the door, then it wouldn’t lock once it closed. Because of that the door blew open more than once & eventually broke the springs preventing the door from closing. It now has to be tied shut with a rope.
