Addington Place of Des Moines

5815 Southeast 27th Street, Des Moines, IA, 50320
Assisted Living, Memory Care

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Extremely short staffed. Memory care patients are neglected. Residents are fed horrible food and KOOL AID as drinks. (Plenty of proof of above claims). My grandma was left to sit in soiled undergarments after a stomach bug to the point of sores on her bottom. Wrong medicine is being handed out and the staff claims they cannot take temperatures or blood pressures. Supposedly they do not have doctors on call either.... at a nursing home.... Staff is INCREDIBLY rude to residents and family. Yesterday my grandma was left in her room until 11am before my mom got there and went to find out why she hadnt been given breakfast, just to be told they were too short staffed and busy.... Hospice was involved and pushed to get my grandma moved ASAP. This place is absolutely appalling. Avoid at all costs" - Crystal…
