September 2025

This facility is run by a Private Equity concern. The management is disorganized and defensive and not particularly interested in the experience of the families. The care is wildly inconsistent and several of the nurses border on aggressive. The staff turnover is concerning and the pay sub-par, these things are often related.the vetting process is sloppy and inadequate because the place is very eager to sell and advertise. The doctor here seems good and genuine and, as such, rather out of place. This is just a business and not a well run one. There is a reason there are wait-list at other places in State College and this isn’t one of them. Buyer beware. After preparing to arrive in the evening for a month, they couldn’t even manage a roll of toilet paper. Some of the staff are fine but it’s not good enough—especially for the price…
