It is just one of five communities owned and operated by Homewood Retirement Centers, Inc., a private not-for-profit continuing care corporation, founded in 1932, based in Williamsport, Maryland, governed by a board of directors.
Homewood at Frederick first operated as a nursing home in 1979 in the former Francis Scott Key Hotel in downtown Frederick before moving to our current location in 2000. Homewood at Frederick provides residential options for independent and assisted living retirees as well as those in need of health care services. Our staff supports the health, dignity and vitality of all who live here.
As a CCRC, Homewood offers both entrance fee and monthly fee plans, with the 100% fully refundable entrance fee among the lowest in the region.
