The reviews for Greenlake Senior Living present a mixed picture. Many reviewers praise the facility for its friendly and caring staff, highlighting individuals like Izzy, Jayla, Amberlea, and Myster for their exceptional service and dedication to residents. The new management is frequently mentioned as a positive change, bringing improvements in organization, atmosphere, and resident engagement. The food, prepared by chefs like Mike and Marquasia, receives commendations for its quality and variety. Several reviewers express satisfaction with the compassionate care provided to their loved ones, noting the facility as a welcoming and supportive environment. However, there are significant negative reviews as well. Some reviewers describe the facility as poorly managed, with complaints about rude and unprofessional staff, inadequate care, and issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Specific grievances include missing personal belongings, poor food quality, and insufficient medical attention. A few reviews mention serious concerns like bedbug infestations and a lack of essential supplies. These negative experiences have led some to call for the facility's closure or restructuring. Overall, while many residents and their families appreciate the improvements under new management and the dedication of certain staff members, others have encountered troubling issues that suggest inconsistencies in the quality of care and service at Greenlake Senior Living.

Since the new Management took over, they are really trying to turn a new leaf and make this place much better. The new cook is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the new Executive Director is really trying to build the best team as possible. There are still some things that need work, but the improvements have been fantastic!

I can't believe that I'm going to leave another horrid review about this place but it has earned it I did go to dinner tonight expecting chicken cordon bleu because it was on the weekly menu but of course they didn't have that they had ground turkey in count sauce I have no idea what count thoughts is and it was over mashed potatoes I took one small bite of it and almost puked right there it was unbelievably horrid I can't believe this place gets away with horrible food like that I think that's it for now there will probably be a next time unless I get moved out of here and back to Independent living PDQ

I probably wouldn't be leaving another horrid review about this place yes I am one of the poor victims that exist here I have trouble sleeping here because it doesn't feel like home I finally got to sleep last night about 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. and someone woke me up at 11:00 p.m. for a safety check I think that's unacceptable because there was no emergency to the building where I needed to be woke up I think this behavior is ridiculous and this place should be closed down by King county or the state of Washington as soon as possible

Pamela

April 2025

Yes I would agree with Steven about how horrid this place is run I'm one of the poor victims who exist in this horrid hell whole place the food is horrible the activities are pretty much non-existent it is way way overpriced for what you're getting I get out of here as many hours a day as I can in order to be able to handle having to exist in this place and I'm working on getting out of here as soon as possible this place is unbelievably horrid I wish King county or the state of Washington would close this place down this is just a place to take as much money as they can from you and give you nothing in return or almost nothing a roof over your head and for me bad food once a day cuz I'm not here for lunch and dinner cuz the horrid hell whole place is hard to stand having to exist here

Pamela

April 2025

It is a horrid hellhole I wish King county or the state of Washington with closest place down I am a resident here unfortunately and today one of the employees came by my room and asked me to sign something without reading it I wouldn't do it she wouldn't leave it in my room asked me to come out to a common area and read it and I was ready to do that but she kind of turned on me and said she didn't have time for this I don't know what I would have been signing and I think she was being completely unreasonable I thought this was a horrid hellhole before but asking somebody to do that is so wrong

Steven
