Vintage Knolls receives generally positive feedback for its clean, welcoming environment and caring staff. Many reviewers commend the facility for its friendly and attentive personnel, who often go out of their way to ensure residents' comfort and well-being. The facility is described as beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and a homely atmosphere. Activities and events are frequently highlighted, providing residents with opportunities for socialization and engagement. The food is often praised for being homemade and satisfying. However, some reviews mention areas for improvement. A few residents and their families express concerns about understaffing, which can lead to delays in service and unmet hygiene needs. There are also isolated incidents of miscommunication and dissatisfaction with the handling of specific situations, such as medication management and post-fall care. Some reviewers note that the facility can feel congested and impersonal, and there are occasional complaints about the quality of food. Overall, Vintage Knolls is recommended for those seeking a community with a range of care levels, though it may be better suited for residents with low to mid-level care needs. The facility's proximity to medical centers and its variety of room options are additional benefits. Despite some criticisms, many families express peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in a supportive and engaging environment.

About Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community On March 19, 1962 the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius, in keeping with their mission to “reach out in compassion to care for the elderly, the young, the poor, the sick, the lonely, wounded families and immigrants," first welcomed guests to Maria Joseph Manor in Danville, PA. This 100-bed facility opened on the Feast of Saint Joseph. The manor became the new home for some of the residents who had lived with the Sisters at Saint Ann's in Middletown, PA. It was near Jednota Orphanage where the Sisters served. Our Mission Statement Hospitality Service Love Respect Compassionate care After its inception, more than 50 years ago, Maria Joseph Manor became a caring and welcoming home for all residents with help from the Sisters and staff. People began to refer to Maria Joseph Manor as "The Home With a Heart," and applications for admission arrived from Pennsylvania and other states where the Sisters taught or ministered. Soon, the manor filled to capacity and applicants had to be turned away. The Sisters recognized the needs of the growing aged population and renovated Maria Joseph Manor. The manor became a personal care facility, and other facilities were built on the campus. Rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition of hospitality and service and dedicated to a mission of love and respect for each individual, the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius and the staff of Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community offer a welcoming and secure environment. Here, the lives of senior adults and their families are enhanced with compassionate and professional care…
