It's the cheapest of assisted living care in the area and you get what you pay for. Short staffed, poor medical care, the dietary staff tries hard with the little they are given to work with. Most of the aides are good and that is why we let my mom stay for 4 months, but there isn't enough staff to go around to all the cottages. Complaints are not addressed in a timely manner. Took 10 days to get a UTI diagnosed and treated. Lots of promises when moving in and none of it materialized. Moved my mom to a different facility and in 4 days they have begun treating her for undiagnosed issues she has suffered with for weeks. If you are new to the assisted living game, I urge you to please keep looking. I didn't at first because I found the cottage community aspect quaint and their promises sounded true and sincere. Don't be fooled by the charm. Just up the road there are several better options.
